Providing a Path of Hope

for young adults aging out of foster care.

Empowering young adults aging out of foster care.

The Open Door House, located in Concord, North Carolina, exists to support vulnerable young adults as they age out of foster care and step into adulthood. We meet each resident where they are, providing a safe home, a stable and caring community, and the resources they need to grow, heal, and thrive.

Stories of Impact

“I am not used to this much progress in such little time. This is the most that I have accomplished in 1 year of my entire life.”

Resident Testimonial

Stories of Impact

"Coming here was a huge weight off my shoulders. The team here and the people from the church have been so inspirational. It’s just an awesome team here to help girls in my situation get off the ground. Personally, since I don’t have so much family to go to, it’s always awesome to have other people in your life who care about you and want you to do good."
